Hi Beavers
This week, we thought you’d like a go at some challenges. 1 & 2 can be completed using Lego or anything else you’ve got around the house.
1/ Make a noughts and crosses game. You will need a base board and bricks to make 9 squares. You can either use coloured bricks in two colours to represent the noughts and crosses or mini figures (but make sure you know who is using each figure!). Challenge someone else in your household to a game.
2/ Make a marble maze. You will need a large baseboard and different sized bricks. Make a wall round the edge of the board to make sure the marble doesn’t fall off the edge! Then put in the walls to make the maze. If you want to make it a little more tricky you could leave a gap in the wall at the bottom of the board so that the marble will drop out once it has navigated the maze!
3/ Design and make an egg cup that a real egg will fit into. You will need to keep this as it will become part of next week’s task.
