Cubs

A bit about Cubs…

Cub Packs have been part of Scouting since 1916. Throughout the organisation there are about 140,000 Cubs that make up 8,000 Cub Packs. At the 11th Folkestone Cub Pack, meetings are held for an hour and 30 minutes on a Tuesday night

The Pack is made up of young members who have moved up from the Beaver Colony or those who would have joined Scouting for the first time. Cubs is fun and adventurous and a great place for friendships to be made.

At Cubs, the focus is on fun, socialising and the opportunity to learn skills that the young people would not pick up elsewhere.

Cub Scouts are aged between 8 and 10 and a half years old and abide by the Cub Scout law.

The Cub Scout Promise

Cub Scouts always do their best,

and do a good turn every day.

The Cub Scout Law

I promise that I will do my best
to do my duty to God and the Queen,
